The Coach, by the legendary "The Skywatch" out of a Motown mare, was raised by Mr. & Mrs. Raymond (Diana) Popp of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
This fantastic show horse was started by Bobby Hugh and was shown as a 2-Yr. Old and as a 3-Yr. Old by Joe Cotten. The reins were later turned over to Joel Weaver to be shown as a 4-Yr. Old. After Joel's retirement, he was then paired with John Allan Callaway.
The Coach is one of the few show horses that has won Multiple-Championships under three different trainers, with a Showring Record of 20-2.
